Took it to a bike show today, but got beat out by Friend Wes, with His 1970 sand cast Honda CB750.
He took first place Vintage Class.

So as to avoid the Sin of Envy, I'll just say "I wish I had that one and you had a better one!"

Better, I dont know, but it will always be on a diet. I plan to keep taking off weight where and when I can. And I am still thinking of a complete paint change.

Skinner, I have been thinking about drag bikes since You have been posting. Our local Dragway, after being closed for years, has been bought and is being re-furbished.
Another bike in the shed.....a drag bike....hmmmm.

would make a nice pair in shop, whats your other bike? those yam front ends are nice some of those have alum rims, would fit right in, could use all stock parts except frame keep it cheap and use new old 18x4 slick with alum tank cool, smoking, tire.....

Skinner, I have several bikes, Super Glide, Electra Glide, 46 Indian Chief, 06 Panhead Bobber project, XS650, a Bronson replica Sporty, and 23 or 4 misc Hondas, and Kaws, and 3 KZ1000 project/parts bikes.
I cant get too excited about build ing a XS650 drag, not much power there unless big bucks invested. The 4 cylinder Kaws, on the other hand.....

I know were there is lay down gas in frame kaw 900 or 1000 frame rear wheel oil tanks and magneto, wild ride, or stock frames can put extented swingarm and stuts then run 9s or tens pretty easly harles nice but more mony unless iron head sporty can build one of those reasonably

Dean, meet Sam. He will arrive Show Low by bus arouind noon Monday. Dont forget to pick Him up, I shipped COD, hope You dont mind. He is 20 years old, weighs 25 pounds. He will keep the Coyotes down for you.
He snores, rather loudly and will need to sleep on the bed between You and Mz Pam. He has gas, too ,so dont blame Pam. He likes to watch O'Reilley with Me, but He doesnt care for Rush. He will want to cuddle with You, so humor Him. DO NOT MAKE HIM MAD.
I can bring You some more in September, but he should do for now. No need to thank Me, Dean, I got You covered!

Don, you've done a good job on the tracker. Lots of nice touches. Is the Wes that beat you in the show the same one who had those dreadful health issues? If so, it's great that he's recovered enough to show his bike.

Thanks, Simon. It has been a fun project, and fun to ride, if a little....cacophonous (sp?) I also plan to add a fork brace, ASAP. Yes, the same Wes. It was great to see Him standing after only seeing Him in bed for the last year. He tires easliy, but is 100% better.A walking miracle.

Just park the bike in front of the fence, call the dogs and take a picture...

That's how I would do it :icon_wink:
