Rumor has it these are BMW NA bikes, and this setup may become an option for the HP2. R1200S wheels, sticky tires, and I really like the white version in the background. Sign me up, take my wallet - please.
I feel dirty.

Yeah, the white one. Make mine Dover white, circa BMW 1965. I'm still unsure about a SM bike with cylinders hanging out. I know what can and does happen when they hit the hard stuff. My pal just did that at Infineon (formerly Sears Point, until they sold their soul to a German computer chip outfit accused of price fixing...) Raceway, a simple low side, tires still cold as was the air that morning. Low side was just $2,500. Holed the valve cover, dontcha know.
I'd opt for the KTM SM at this point. It doesn't have a $600 front fender, in case it breaks.
Great photos! What a great time to be rich and have such magnificent choices!
If only I was rich.

$600 front fender!! OMFUG!
Yeah, a flat twin doesn't bode well for the whole low-side (or hi-side, for that matter). I still think it would be a fun street bike, but it would have to be down close to 400lbs or so. The Katoom 950 SM is @ 425lbs w/ 100+/- hp, so that's a good benchmark, and the Ducati SM thingy will probably be there too. I've got the unlimited rich (imagination), and I've got the nearly unlimited choice, but I also have the severly limited lottery winnings. I'm going down to KTM to retrieve my Duke II this weekend, and have been promised an extended demo of a 950 SM (the owner wants to buy my DII for his daughter). KTM supermoto front fenders go for $28.00.

Also note the driveshaft angle. That will never last.
