View Full Version : Bleeding brakes on RR?

The brakes require to be bled since the 2 years are up since the bike was originally purchased by the first owner. I'm interested in SpeedBleeders since they seem like a solid product and apparently make life easier for bleeding brakes.

Does anyone have experience with this product or have used them? If so, how many bleeders do I require? 2 or more?

Any tips, suggestions, comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Get three, one for each caliper and leave them permanently installed.

I've been using a MityVac, which is also a big help, but that's with the original bleed screws on the calipers, not with SpeedBleeders. Bleeding all calipers plus the clutch takes me about an hour.

Thanks. I think my 2003 R uses SB6100 for the brakes. Does anyone know the part number(s) for the clutch SB?
