When I think about Bloomfield/Kooper, it is that first BS&T album that comes to mind. In those days I played trumpet and worked with several horn bands. There was another album from that period you might remember — I sure do — by a group called "Electric Flag".
In my music career, I played a lot of BS&T and Chicago (up to about their fourth album, if memory serves). Smoked a lot of shit, talked a lot of trash, and remember snatches of it from time to time.
