Just a heads up for the motorcycle racing fans.

Those of you within earshot of the Barber track in Birgminham should consider visiting for the Superbike Race in late April. I have been fortunate to have attended all but the first of the races and only have great things to say for the track, the view, the paddock, the facilities and of course the Museum is something that will make you feel like a kid in a candy store for the better part of a day.....

There, I have seen all kinds of makes and models in atendance and from just about anywhere in the US......

I'm truly sorry to have to miss the program this year.....and by two weeks!!!:embarassed:

DJ's list is World and AMA superbike races combined. For a moment I thought I was seeing things!

The Barber track in AL. is a real treat. The museum is a 'religious' experience in itself and worth the visit if you do nothing else for any lover of motorcycles.

Just sittin' in front of the tube watching the Daytona 500, fire goin' and beer in hand. Gettin' in shape for the MotoGP season and Bike Week at Daytona. Ah, this Spring training is tuff.

Earlier this year I was (ahem) forced to go to Barber's museum on business, tour included. Since I'm 90 miles away I can't believe I haven't been there before. The April date is firmly on my calendar. If any others are attending, please post. I'd love to meet some of you guys in the flesh....well, you know what I mean (I hope).
