If any one is intrested, I am working on a plan to get extended warrenties for "Cafe" members from the best aftermarket extended warrenty Co. in the business, respected by all dealers because they pay so well. The best part...............Drum Roll...............
AT A SUGNIFICANT DISCOUNT :028:
Post on this thread if you are intrested, I will work on it some more after the Texas run.
Trying to make some additional bennys for "Cafe" Members, things like Remus only has a 20% mark up to dealers, Cafe members can get Remus delivered with out tax or shipping. post here if intrested. :)

Well lad, you have my stinking attention. I'm batting about 50% on extended warranty companies. I bought them for two vehicles I've owned: one paid out a semi-large claim without a problem. The other went out of business when I needed them.
However, talk about a company which is respected by our Dean, and you have my attention.:)

Great guys, from what I am hearing from you all it looks worth pursuing. As soon as I have all the details, I will post, also at this time it looks like the warrenty will not be brand specific, meaning that that a KTM or ??? can be written up.

I put 20,000 miles on my K1200RS last year.
I would defiantly be interested.
Thanks. :eusa_clap:

Dean, can that extended warranty be activated if the original factory warranty has expired? If so, you have my attention!

Wow, Dean, fantastic! And the Remus deal.........I wasn't really considering doing a Remus system to my 1200GS, BUT.....
Thanks. Keep up posted.
Jeff
I'm certainly interested. Would like to hear the provisions having to do with modifications, as I tend to tinker.
Bones, you need that Remus.

I may be interested in the warranty. I have about 30 months and 32,000 miles left on my factory warranty. With our long winters up here I'm guessing I will run out by time rather than miles.

So far the info that I have is that the warrenty will be 4 years unlimited miles added on to the existing factory warrenty. The company has been in business since 1982 and always pays .
The catch is that the warrenty has to be purchased within 12 months of the origional selling date of the bike, and is not brand specific, so for a Beemer that means a 7 year unlimited milege warrenty. Will have more info when I get home.
