BMW seem to have the mid pack all sewn up. Too cool. But as you say, Dave, it's not racing. And there's no prizes for being "winter world champion"..

I would love to know the back story of the BMW team parting with Tardozi and the later firing of Berte Hauser, I have my suspicions as I have worked..... with Berte.

Oddly enough maybe, it doesn't pain me a bit to report this...good riders on good race bikes are always special to me. It's obvious these guys have busted ass to do this & get this far, and qualifying is much more telling than practice.
I kind of like Haslam although I don't know a lot about him. And Corser...who doesn't love the Old Croc? I suspect though Troy may be, um...a bit past his prime.
