From Gizmag:
Automotive radar and laser detector manufacturer Escort has announced the release of Passport IQ, which combines GPS navigation and radar detection technology in one handy unit. As well as getting you safely from A to B, the new driving accessory is said to be the first that also protects you from annoying and costly tickets by providing information on red light and fixed position speed cameras, known speed traps, speed limit information and more.

But my Tom Tom does all that "fixed position" stuff. Saved me a couple of times on my trip through France in September, so much so that, in the words of the old song, "I'm a believer!"

I would rather call them " Fast Riding Awards " than " Speeding Tickets " the latter sounds so harsh. Besides as the libs say the tickets make me feel " Less Than " and we can't have anyone not feeling good about themselves now can we??????

Several years ago we had a plan that made it part way through the legislative process. Probably vetoed by our "Governor" Good Hair Perry.

We would have been able to buy a book of speeding coupons in different denominations to present to the arresting officer in speeding stops.
Brilliant sez I! The state would get their blood-money up front, we could fire a raft of do-nothing Justices of the Peace, the cops could focus on real evil-doers and we could get busted for speeding with smiles on our faces.:ricky:
I was going to give them to me mates for Christmas...
