I was wondering if you were aware of the UK Land Speed Racing Association...

Randy, no, I'd never heard of them. I did know that speed events were held at Elvington (I believe that at least one of the world records that Norman Hyde set there in the early seventies still stands!). Hadn't heard of Honnington or Woodbridge. It might be worth checking them out, Suffolk is a lovely part of the country and Lin wouldn't need too much persuading to go back there.
