Thanks guys!!! I'm in NV with my sister seeing our dad in his new assisted living center. We visited him today, and then had a great dinner, good whiskey, great stories of our youth and a wonderful evening together. It was an added benefit to see these messages. THANKS!!!

Thanks everyone...just got home tonight. It was a difficult time as dad is sooo much worse mentally. It's no easy process to observe, but my sis and I know that we did the right thing, allowing the state to be guardians, and though i do worry about the administrative costs associated with it, he is safe, eating, has a dr when needed and socialization without booze. All/s well. Oh ya, and I am one year older...damn, but it beats the alternative! ; )
