IF you DON'T want to know yet, don't scroll down, but if you do.............

1.Rossi
2.Hayden
3.Capirossi
4.Gibernau

Fantastic race. And while Hayden rode an absolutely outstanding race, Rossi again demonstrated otherwordly riding. It was clear that he was having a bit of a go with his machine, but refused to not win. Great shredding at the front a few times between Hayden and Rossi. Should be a great season.

Now tomorrow's Speedchannel broadcast won't be so scary.

Nice work, Hayden. Rossi? The Dr. is IN.
Look how far back the rookies are. 8 seconds.

Rossi again demonstrated otherwordly riding.

I remember watching Kenny Roberts race at Sears Point once sometimes in the late 70's. The way he went around the track was like watching something that defied all laws of physics.

Supermoto,
Yes, but Stoner lead the first half of the race and rode it well until his medium compound rear tire went off. He rode smart and didn't bin it.

Rossi really..I mean REALLY...wanted that one....he rode the wheels off that Yam...

and Nicky was right there with him and pushing just as hard...Nicky impressed me....

and I'm so happy for Casey...he rode a smart race...and who knows...with the right tire choice he might start beating Rossi.

DJ,
I watched it live and Stoner REALLY rode well. Better than the results show on paper. I think he had Rossi and Hayden nervous early on, because his gap was for real. But you could see when his tire went off . He was very smart to keep pace but not do anything stupid. He will develop nicely, I think.

Should be a great season.

Casey is a real charger, and if he can not toss it away too often, he has a real chance to have many podium finishes. And, when Rossi moves on....
we'll get some GREAT racing with Pedrosa & Hayden & dePuniet & Stoner & .....

Oooooooooo! This is turning out to be a really interesting season, if a sample of two is sufficient to make such a declaration. Rossi was in top form, as were Hayden and Capirossi. Stoner was amazing and looks like the real deal. Pedrosa and Melandri were tight and duking it out for sixth and that was almost as entertaining to see the dicing going on between Rossi and Hayden. Note where Gibernau ended up...I was sure those Ducs were competitive this year. The only downer was Hopkins kicking the crap out of his ride and pitching a hissy when he left with mechanical trouble. Capirossi, Hayden, and Pedrosa lead Rossi in the the points and it might be a long haul to get to the lead. Turkey on the 29th.

I thought John kicking his bike like that was not funny..and I'm sure Suzuki weren't amused either.

In this pic..His team must have been thinking..'Look out..here he comes'

Poor old Colin must be pissed off with himself.

Casey Stoner must be over the moon....I hope he can keep the ball rolling.

I missed the r5ace on Sunday but played hooky today fr5om wor5k & watched the reprise at lunch. Fantastik race. Ducati's looking good.

Easy prediction of the year is for another Rossi championship. Number two slot looks pretty open. That Aussy Stoner rode incredible for a rookie. Hayden is looking pretty hard to bear too.
