Just bought a new Laptop.

I was in WallyWorld today and they were blowing out a EMachine E525 for $295.00 today and I bought one.

The claims are a 15.6 screen
Windows 7 Home premimum
2.2 GHz Intel Celeron chip....our desktop is a 133 GHz tells you how old it is.
2 GB Memory
250 GB HDD.

It is now on the charger, hope I can figure out how to make it work.

The plan is to have something to take with

The Verizon Air card will plug right in.

Dean - sounds like a good buy. I was using an Air Card when I was at the BB last October. My Apple Note Book worked very good from your location. There will be places it will not work - like at ARBY's Cabin in N Carolina - might be some places in Utah - but I think most places you will be ok. Good luck with the new E Machine.

Win7 is big improvement, you're most likely going to enjoy the new laptop. As long as it's got spark that is. 7 is more secure against some of the threats out there on the internet. Download Microsoft Security Essentials and you'll have good basic virus protection. It's free and integrates perfectly.

Roger, the Verizon Aircard works great. I am now sitting on the back deck of the house, beautiful view, gental breeze sipping iced tea.

The aircard works great every where at the place.

DUH!!!! LOL!! as soon as I finish putting a new CV joint/half shaft and hub which exploded, I'm going for a ride.

My oldest drove around on it for a month without saying anything. It's totally screwed.

Lisa, Satellite works great and my Verizon Air card works great as well in the MC B&B

Mz Pam and I sure enjoyed both you and Bevs visit up here.

Also Pam can not wait to go Scuba diving again, she found her open water card and friday morning she will get re upped re her certification. You guys have her all excited.
