The founders of the Motorcyclist Cafe would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of the new members. Thanks to the hard work of a small group of people and the generous contributions of a larger group, we have managed to get the website off the ground.
A number of people have inquired about contributing to the on-going support of the site. We have established a Paypal account and a dues structure for those who like to contribute. To make the accounting easier we have chosen to make annual dues payable on a pro-rated basis, with all renewals coming due in January. The annual contribution amount has been set at $12.00 per year (edit: earlier it was 24.00, but 12.00 allows us to meet our operating costs). We anticipate that at that level we should be able to fund all on-going operating costs for the foreseeable future.
It is the intent of the Founders of the Motorcyclist Cafe that this website be run by the dues paying members. With your contribution will come access to a section of the forum where matters pertaining to the on-going management of the website are discussed. We encourage all dues paying members to be active participants in our growth and development.
We hope that everyone is finding the Cafe to be an enjoyable place to hang out, and encourage everyone to invite their friends. For those wishing to contribute, instructions, along with a Paypal link can be found on the Membership page.
