Anybody here heading to bike week (or any part of it)?
I've got a 4 day weekend rental for a HD here in Fla, that was a door prize at last years Tour of the Southern Appalachians. It was just returned to me by the winners. They'll not be able to take advantage of it before the certificate runs out in mid April '10. They wanted someone else to get the use of it, if possible.
Here's the deal. Originally it was for a three day Fri thru Mon AM rental from our local dealer's rental fleet. You have to be 25yrs of age, have a valid M/C license and post a damage deposit.
But, due to the economy, our dealer has canceled the rental fleet this year.
They are, however, still honoring these certificates by letting holders of the certificates pick from any bike in the used bike dept.
When I stopped in to check on redeeming a cetificate for another couple who won one last year, there were some nice looking bikes available, imo.
Sorry, I didn't see any XR1200's or Buell Supermoto's. I'd be test riding those bad boys myself :)
Since they are now closed on Monday, the default return day is Tuesday, making this a Fri AM thru Tues AM 4 day rental.
No strings attached, no hidden agenda's (Well, OK, the user can give a voluntary, tax deductible donation to the Grace Bible Church building fund, if they want to.:))
If a 'Cafe member is interested, I'll help you make it happen, as best I'm able.
BTW, this dealer is 90 mi (1 1/2 hrs)south of Daytona.
