Jeez, where the hell have I been - I think I missed all the fun over on the other site. I knew a lot of you guys went elsewhere but I didn't know what site.....and I didn't bother searching the R site.....I was just reading a thread over there started by good ole 'AndyfromPoland' and stumbled across the 'cafe' name in a post by Dean-O......
Soooo, here I am. I missed a lot of those familiar names and avatars.
OK, I'll go back to my cage now.

I am suprised the muppet running the other site left any message with the word "cafe" in any posts!
You will like it better here.
Lots of good characters with amazing knowledge and enjoyable posts.

Tony,
Welcome! Glad you found us.
Did you know that "someone" at the other site put in some type of filter that automatically deleted ANY reference to Motorcyclist Cafe' in any post and that those posts were deleted immediately? Strange but true.
Anyway, glad you are here. Enjoy.

Hey Tony - WELCOME! Nice to have you aboard! We are still working on this board but as you noted, all the old peckerheads, carpetbaggers, scallywags, roadsters, miscreants, and friends are here!

Tony, don't feel alone. I just recently found the Cafe myself. Glad you're here. Jamais
Tony - we certainly didn't try to lose you brother! But apparently the Big Brother on that other site didn't want you knowing you had an alternative over here! Life is far less stressful and a lot more fun here in the Cafe!

Welcome Tony!
You dont need to get back into your box - no bannings or post will be excised here - it is a open minded site for Roadsters and the like.

What! You posted in the wrong damn section!?
You're toast man...

Oh my GOD!!! Dave has regressed. Should we call a doctor, an exorcist or just take him for a drag down a dirt road until we purge the past evils from his soul?

Nope, just wanted to see what it feels like to talk that way...we never hear it here! (Thanks God!)
But I've always wanted to go down a dirt road in drag...

I was also wondering why the other site had grown so quiet . . . and where all those "voices" I'd come to value so much had gone. I don;t post much, as there's so much to learn from the long-riding members. I purchased an R a year ago and have come to depend on the wisdom of so many of you -- for safety tips, tech tips (once wrenched a heart, I'm told, but not much else), and so on. Feels like coming home.

Hey George (Geechie)....not to highjack the thread, but I think you might have well coined a new reference to our board.
"Motorcyclist Cafe' , where we care about the shit that matters....."
Pretty much sums it up, don't ya think?

Well Mr. Pacific -
Many are the hearts to wrench in this place...please be gentle.
But the old farts, even as old as venerable Dean-O with lots of miles on bikes & bones, want to hear what you young whippersnappers think about it all too!
Glad you found us, welcome aboard.

Jay: Welcome to the cafe'. Feel free to post as much or as little as you like. Anyone with the sig line — "Act surprised, show concern, admit nothing." — is sure to feel right at home with this motley crew.
Bones: Ron kinda set the bar for me with that "Master of bon moterie" business. I feel somewhat obligated to deliver.
