The Bonneville Heuer Concept
Two icons worn by the king of cool, Two products alive more than ever, Two legendary masterpieces of the 70’s.To celebrate the Monaco 40th anniversary, TAG Heuer & Triumph have decided to create together a “one of a kind” : the Bonneville Heuer. The two brands share many values such as authenticity, design and quality but they also have in common an icon associated to their history : Steve Mc Queen. The legendary actor is linked to the mythic products, the Triumph Bonneville and the TAG Monaco. The project, initiated by Mos Espa, is the result of a collaboration between both brands based on common values.

I think that John Bloor's Triumph Co. is one of the best out there capturing the nostalgia of old.......if not the best.

A definite salute is in order.

You mean like this Davie? This is one of the cars we built for a customer. He races PCA and wanted a retro look.

The pic of the GT is from our recent vintage bike rally in East Texas...see the boinked front air dam? I think he did that driving into the campground, over some tree roots & ruts! OOPS...

This was at Goodwood a couple of years ago, I'm not sure exactly what model it is but it looks like the sort of thing McQueen drove in the film "LeMans".

I think you're right Dean, Bloors boys seem to have an intuition for the "homage" to the past. It doesn't hurt that their current model looks so much like the earlier one either.

Anybody remember this little "Gulf" racer...one of the dual-Norton engine variety?

I'll have more about it soon.

Camping and luxury just don't mix!
