Every time I see that female seat thread, I wan't to post something vulgar. It's all I can do to not say something bad... it's just too inviting.

Yes, since you mentioned it I looked. Some cheese dick called "Airman" (is that anything like "air start") who has no idea what he is talking about, said:

And we threw the Cafe guys out for tasteless posts ?

I do not believe this is true AT ALL. First of all, nobody was "thrown out" except Allan, and that was not for "tasteless posts", unless you consider well-written and researched pieces on motorcycle history to be "tasteless".

In my case, I voluntarily LEFT because of a tasteless post by another member about the death of a friend and fellow motorcyclist.

So on principal, I will not post on that board, but somebody please feel free to tell "Airman" that he should get his facts straight or kiss my hairy ass.

Oh - and let's not even get in to the fact that Doug made a ham-fisted attempt at detective work and erroneously posted on his site that I was the poster of some provocative messages over there - when in fact they came from a public IP.

I would not dignify that place with a post about anything, except maybe my ass. Which Doug can kiss. When he's not busy designing vibrating motorcycle seats for women riders.

Airman, you are 100% incorrect and wrong in your post,

Only one poster was banned and it had nothing to do with " tastless posts".

Since the unnamed forum has been opened for some two months now, appx 150 posters have joined with something well over 7,000 posts. The new site is becomming extremely active.

Just thought I would straighten out some misperseptions.

I think you guys mis-interpreted Airman's post...he wasn't spanking *us*, he was spanking *Doug*.
I'd think that would get him nominated for Pope over here.

I agree with Dave's post. Airman was "yanking" Doug's chain....not ours. In any case, he's part of the cafe too. :)

I agree. I believe Airman was defending the "cafe" people :eusa_clap: He just forgot to double-quote "tasteless" to accurately convey the sarcasm!

He should come forward here and explain. If he was ranking on Doug, then "no harm, no foul" as far as I am concerned. But I wish he would get his facts straight because his statement really serves to perpetuate a negative impression of us. It might make people think we are Peckerheads, Carpetbaggers, Scallywags, Roadsters, and Miscreants......

Rode my R1 in 45 degree chill today on the Capital beltway. It was exhilarating.

The only thing exhilarating about riding on the capital beltway is living through it!

Ha! :) Good point. I rode the R1 again today - McLean, VA (where I am temporarily living) to Wheaton, Maryland. Just a sea of traffic, moving fast. You know, I learned to ride in Southern California years and years ago, have ridden hundreds of thousands of miles since, but nothing quite prepares you for the capital beltway in heavy traffic!
