I finally got our first HDTV, I'm having it hooked up next week. We bought a Sony. This will help me cope with the long winter nights.

How many times have I been half way through a race or Wind Tunnel only to discover I was watching the lowly lo-def...:linzi:
Make sure you pick the right channel!

Get a DVR and you are set for the winter. It allows you to watch 3 hours of tv in 2, and you can see the end of the Super Bowl even if you fall asleep a couple of times.

You will probably kick yourself for not doing it earlier, too.
