Talking of products and accessories, those of you who are cursed/blessed (delete as as you may) with chain drive might be able to help. I know that there exists a little "prop" that touring riders without a centre stand can use to raise the rear wheel for chain lubing and maybe tyre repair. Any ideas on where I could get one? Can't find a UK supplier, although there must be one..

Si, I don't. But many of the KLR guys make one out of an aluminum crutch bottom leg. The adjustable kind. I don't know how they do it but it has a rubber crutch tip on both ends.
You might check some dirt bike sites for ideas.
I put a centerstand on mine. I can't imagine life without centerstands.
Hey, you're an old timer...remember when BMWs came with centerstands? :webers:
