The latest big brother news.
First Speed cameras..then Red light cameras..and now Sound cameras.
So...go through a red light going too fast and with a loud exhaust you get three fines at once..:icon_eek:

Interesting.....DC is probably really bad in that respect.
Btw, both those links point to the same page. Was that intentional?

I'm not sure about the sound part of it, but DC generated so much revenue because the speed limits are so low (mostly 25mph, and the 'highways' are 45). I have yet to see the speed cameras, but there is a red-light camera on my way to work. I've seen it go off on unsuspecting drivers that sometimes get caught in gridlocked traffic. I know coming up to that light, that if it turns yellow, I'll stop.

I had too short a reply....anyhow...you're right....I haven't heard anything about excessive sound restrictions. Someone on one of the boards I frequent (I forget which one) seemed to have angled his license plate just so that the cams couldn't get a clear shot. Intriguing.....:)
