The DVD I ordered should be with me any day now, let me know if you still need it. I can send it direct to Dean if you like for the B&B library.

No, no, no! Please send it here first!
We'll have a special meeting of the Peckerhead Motorcycle Racing Team for the occasion.:eusa_clap:
I've been to the B&B 3 times and haven't seen anyone watch a vid yet?!

Finding this show on TV is just an appetizer for a well produced highlights vid!:webers:

One of the few times I'll regret having no TV, and certainly not the last I regret living 1700 miles away from Peckerhead HQ!

They'll want to watch this one. But beware, after the TT everything else is mere "racing".:pot:

Or, as valentino Rossi said after watching the riders plunge flat out down Bray Hill surrounded by garden walls, lamp posts, traffic signs and so on, then mono wheel over Ago's Leap, "Dear God, is so fast! Riders need big balls, but also good brains.."

I've been watching this almost every night. It is fascinating, and the picture quality in HD is fantastic.

Relax Don, not going to happen for a variety of reasons. Let me explain.

Firstly, per mile covered the TT is the safest form of racing. 37.75 miles per lap, 226 miles per six lap race, 120 (or so) starters per race. Add in the practice laps required to qualify and you have as many miles covered as in a whole season of Grands Prix. (Slight exageration that, but you see where I'm going?) Six races per week, although not all are six lappers.

Secondly, crashes are very rare but inevitably serious and well publicised. At a nice safe short circuit a rider on the startline can say to himself " It's win it or bin it". On the TT startline a rider says to himself "Fuck this up and it's "Hello St Peter"..

Lastly, the sheer difficulty of filming the races, there's over two hundred corners per lap along with the jumps and wriggles. They'd need a thousand camera men. They use a helicopter now, but it gets left behind along the straights! In addition to all that if they did happen to capture a fatal crash on film, they wouldn't show the footage out of respect. After all, this is England, old boy. Eh, what?

I like that "win it or bin it".
It reminds me of the old American flat track idiom, "Go, blow, or poke a hole in the fence!"
That was frequently uttered by those who would later quit the sport with one leg or arm (or both) considerably shorter than the other.
And the ones who would go on to become National Champions, a few of which then went to super-stardom as World Champions in Superbike or Moto GP.:eusa_clap:
