Yep...that's right...its 70 plus, sunny, I'm on vacation and have not been on the bike for 5 days now. I'M AN IDIOT!!!!!!:102:
The wife decides it's the perfect time to tile the great room, 2 of the bathrooms, the kitchen, and a 38 foot hallway! Little over a 1000 SQFT
So guess what I'm doing. Should have it knocked out by Saturday. Then I can get a day ride in.
Thanks for listening, I feel better now...back to work......

Rog -

We're planning some nice tile floors in our new retirement home early next year.
What are your rates?

Wow Dave! maybe a new career for me...NOT! I'd be expensive, but worth it:) . I swore after the last time, I'd pay someone else to tile, however, the more I save the more I have for MotoGP in July, so its worth it.
I don't mind, got to buy some more power tools..woo hoo!!!! Spending the week on my hands and knees, wait...that did'nt come out right, well ya know. Planning on tile is everything, I can give ya tips, heck I'll ride out and help if ya got beer, but I can drink some beer!
Off to bed, can't wait to go back to my job, to get some rest.

I dunno Rog...I think tile layers are cheaper than beer drinkers.
Oh what the hell! Come on out and we'll just go riding and let Betty do the tile...

I think this may be the time to do a bit of bragging on my Bonnie. “We” are getting our present house ready to go on the market for sale. It is Bonnie who is doing 95% of the work: painting, tiling, electrical, plumbing not to mention the out of doors stuff. The best part - she really does a great job of it as well. :)

I do try and save a bit of face by going to “work” everyday, at the zoo. Actually it may be considered to be more of a circus. You know, taming the wild animals, without getting eaten yourself. In my program this is a lot harder than it looks.

A couple of months ago, I heard a disturbance in the hall. So I handover my Palm and cell phone to my assistant, and head out the door. “Go to the noise” is our expression; as a came around the corner a chair came flying at me. I almost was able to avoid it, but not quite. We “took down” the chair thrower, his explanation was simple, “I wasn't trying to hit you with the chair Mr. Ganger - I was trying to hit Ms H***o.” He just couldn't understand why I might be angry with that.

You know, not that I think about it, perhaps my wife has the better deal . . . hmmm . . .

Think of all the Triumph parts you can buy with the money you save.

One more day, and I'm done. As long as the beer and Bourbon hold out I'll be ok....damn, I'm gonna need AA after this week. a quart of Jim Beam this week. amazing thing is, the lines are straight! At least to me! Cause I'm not.:eusa_drool:
What a vacation..Mama's happy, so I'm happy.
