Well Moosie, I can see how you might have suspected that was me...not this time!
Since I got all my tickets I've been "living at the foot of the cross", speedwise.
Here I've got the fastest damn motorcycle I've ever owned and I'm putting around like my Aunt Mildred.
Geeze...

My friend Matt, who I went through MSF RiderCoach training with, is an AMA-licensed racer in the 600cc class and he flies by me on my R1 on the track like I was not even there - he rides an R6. I have had 600cc sportbikes pass me on the track when I was at or above 140. The new R6 puts out some ridiculous amount of HP, like 130!

If you had more than about a quarter mile of open, straight road and a well tuned R6 you would still be building speed at 155! Lot's of quids get these as a first bike because the displacement is small - not such a good move....
