I have noticed lately on the Google page, down load Google Chrome.

What is Google Chrome and in a dummys terms what is the brouser on your computer?

A browser is the software you are using to see this site -- like Internet Explorer. (Or Firefox, or Opera, or Netscape, etcetera.) Chrome is another browser that Google has introduced. I've not tried it, but I hear it looks like it's designed for children; lotsa pretty colors and big icons.
