Wow,

600 threads... Right at 6,200 posts... 148 members...

And all in less than 60 days. Pretty neat!

Now, if we can just get the membership collection and sign-up method sorted out we really be on our way.

Almost hard to believe this place grew from just a twinkle in our eye to the board it has become so fast... We really didn't start working on it until December.

Tomorrow's the day that I've set apart to work on the webpages and such. It should be functional...I think.

A minor correction there....the first time we tested the board out was 3rd Jan....and officially went "live" a couple of weeks later. :)

Just FYI - for everyone on this last point, we are devoting quite a bit of time to this but it does take some time and we do have day jobs. Harry Parker (GPM) and I worked together before I left Arizona a couple of weeks ago to set up the PayPal account approriately. Harry, who deserves the "Peckerhead Legion Of Merit" for his efforts, has put my crude spreadsheet data into a proper financial database, and Abhijeet, who deserves the "Scallywag of the Year" award, is devoting his very "precious-as-late" spare time to setting up the web page he has coordinated with Harry to work off of a PayPal button and take payments.

So - to everyone, please don't mistake the lack of a result with a lack of progress or committment - it's great that we have such a diverse set of talents to bring this thing together and I see it growing into one of the best motorcycle forums anywhere!

Ride safe - should be a nice Sunday in most of the "viewing area". YMMV.

If I remember right we went *live* on January 11th, 2006, and February doesn't have 30 days...

Doesn't really matter exactly what day it was in early January, it's still pretty friggin' amazing to me. That's about an average of 10 threads and over 100 posts a day... Or an average of over 4 posts an hour, ever hour, since we got started.

Just makes me shake my head and go "Wow.."

With the exception of the toothless hag with the saggy tits....I've enjoyed most pics on Page 3.....However...I don't remember why we named it Page 3 in the first place. Any ideas?

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, Bob... But if memory serves there is some daily news rag in England - the "Sun" I believe - that has a "Page 3 Girl" every day on, well... page 3.

So Bob wanted us to have a "Page 3 Girl" over here at least once a day!

Sure makes it a lot more fun to check the board each morning and finding a good "Page 3 Girl" rather than a tired old "What oil should I use at exactly 16,312 miles?" thread, eh?
