Wow!!! what a race, did anyone else see it! It's raining here in Arizona. First time in 140 plus days. So it's a perfect day for race watching on the tube.
Duhumel crashed with a 12 sec lead. Knarly high-side.

Glad you are finally getting some rain. It's been raining here for so long now that there's moss on the south side of the trees.
Poor Miguel. He's had more than his share of debilitating crashes. It's really amazing that he can still ride after that solid wall he hit at, I think, Loudon a few years back. I was rootin' for him.

Hell,

Miguel certainly did crash in the Daytona 200, but what's more amazing is that despite the vicious high-side he got up, staggered over to the motorcycle, got it going again and back out onto the track... and finished FIFTH!!! :103:

Man, that guy is braver than Dick Tracy... And harder than cobalt.

Cheers!

But that's Daytona... And he planned it that way. You have to with the banking and the run to the flag out of 3 and 4. NOBODY really wants to lead out of the back straight chicane at Daytona.

Cheers!

I enjoy watching Mladin - cool, smooth, precise, no dramatics - gets the job done with few mistakes. Guess some think that is boring, but it is his control that impresses me.

Duhammel - sheesh! Coming off as hard as he did - I was surprised he stood up. Guess he felt it the day after! Anyone hear post race commentary from him?
