The first reminds me of when I first got checked out in the tower at NAS Cubi Pt. the phraseology for a high speed low pass was "not below 500ft and above 250k high speed low pass approved" what came out of my mouth was "not above 250ft and below 500knots high speed low pass approved" and a Phantom pilot took me up on it. I got to see the base commander over that one. We all laughed about it later though.

My son in law was part of the Carl Vinson crew for a few years before joining the SeaBees. He had talked about watching some pretty awesome airshows from the deck.
It was interesting indeed to see what he was talking about.:thumbs_up:
