I saw the Minutemen were removed from the highway adoption program (for removing litter) because the Hispanic community was offended. Cal Trans was the agency that removed them. Now there's a lawsuit imminent. Point is, in a world where political correctness comes before pragmatism, the closing of the borders seems unlikely.

The Mexican Army is making headway with the drug dealers according to last nights news, at least across the border from El Paso. We have the same smaller issue here in the states, where gang bangers are protected from eradication by laws which favor the criminals in many cases, leaving the victims to fend for themselves. It's going to get uglier as people are more affected by the loss of jobs, homes, pensions, etc. It's a crummy system, and it needed watching, not deregulation. Now look at what we've got!
