 The name is Brian.

BobFV1 actually shared a link to a thread with me on "The Other Forum" and thought I might like this place. Thanks Bob.

I registered way back in 2006, but somehow this place slipped off my radar.

Anyway, so I'm here now. About me....

Hmmmm

Well, 45 years old, happily married for 22 years, been riding for about 23 years.

I served in the Army, recently did a stint in Iraq and was in the chute for another tour. I had no desire to go back, so I hung up the uniform, joined the Reserves and currently work as a Corporate Training Manager at Anniston Army Depot in Alabama and in my spare time I'm attempting to lean how to play the guitar and I'm a MSF rider coach.

I ride a '04 BMW R1150RT and I also have a '85 Yamaha Virago 1000 that I'm sentimentally attached to. It was my first brand spanking new bike.

I've only been in Alabama for about 5 months, before that I spent the last 8 years in Germany. I loved it. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to ride in places that many only dream about.

Anyway looking forward to participating and hopefully meeting some of y'all!

Hey Brian, welcome :038:

The cafe has it's own special character- welcome aboard!

BTW - I had an 04 1150RT - loved that bike - extremely comfortable to ride, great weather protection - plenty of power.

Look forward to seeing you around the Cafe!

Hey Brian, welcome aboard...I hope you like it here!
You sound like an interesting cat, looking forward to hearing about metal detecting sometime. I traded a Norton motor for a nice detector + cash a couple years ago but haven't used it or learned how yet.
Oh, and thanks for your service to our country!

G'day Brian,
Any friend of Bob's is treated with suspicion, but apart from that, you seem to be a really nice kind of fellow.
I know you will enjoy the cafe' and we look forward to hearing of your rides and viewing your pics.
You seem so young to have so many kids....

Cheers,

JQ.

Hot damn, Brian, you just doubled the Alabama population here!

I'm down in the Montgomery area (Wetumpka).

Now, to find a place for a joint meeting/ride! If you'll take it easy on a poor ol' H-D rider.

And, yes, thanks for your service.
