was awarded the "single of the year" at the 2006 CMA awards.

I was talking to my pastor after church this morning and asked him about a "country music" reference he made during his sermon. I asked him if he had ever heard the song Believe by Brooks and Dunn. He said he hadn't. I told him they made a video for the song and it really moved me when I saw it. I thought he would like the song and the message, so I put it on my web page for him to find. For anyone interested, it's at the bottom of the main page with a player embedded in the page. Turn up the volume and enjoy...

Ronnie Dunn was sitting on the porch of the Loveless Cafe when I was there in October. According to my host, it's not an uncommon site. Clint was oddly shy when he saw him. During lunch, he told me he was writing a song for Brooks and Dunn and it threw him to see Ronnie sitting there. Small world!

Brooks and Dunn have remained an award winning duo because their songs have always remained current and well written :023:

I'd sure like to spend a week in Nashville sometime in the future. :guitarist:
