Last Sunday, Feb 22nd, I went on a local ride here in the DFW area. It was called the Long John Run put on by a club called the Cycle Club of Ft. Worth. These guys have been around for over 50 years and have been putting on this a another ride every year for over 30 years.
When I rode form Burleson heading for the meeting place the temp was in the high 20’s. By the time I arrived the temp was in the mid 30’s. It turned out to be a awesome day getting up into the 60’s.
Here’s a few pics.

Sorry, I did not take any pics while out on the run. These guys always seem to able to us on at one or 2 roads I have never been on. As I say they have been doing it for years.
Some pics at the end at their clubhouse.

They normally have a lot more folks turn on dressed in "long johns" over their clothes, but attendance seemed down. Probably due to the low temps in the morning.
It was a great day and good ride. I made it back home by 4:00 PM, and took Kathy to dinner.
