You'd have to be a hell of a good sprinter to catch up a motorcycle (that has a head start) before it fell over..

You mean, besides common sense? :)

Boy, it looks pretty real to me... Particularly the way the bike wobbles in response to the get-off, and the way other bikes weave around the rider.

When I was a kid, I used to hop off my bicycle and run alongside for a while. I could grab the handlebars, put a foot on a pedal and re-mount, no problem.

(Or, a spectacularly good fake...)

The guy dropped off the bike. Throttle closed. Somehow it remains upright (that good ol' gyro effect!). He runs up and re-mounts. Same thing I'd have done! Ha! I think it's real.

I still think it's real too. Guess my common sense is a quart low...

Only way to end this is for Dean to slide off his motorcycle in one of those Arizona 90 MPH sweepers, hop up and try to run down the ST. If that old coot can catch the ST it's real..

As for me I think it's real also. I've seen many a strange thing at the races and this isn't that out of bounds.
