One of the few shows that we like to watch as a family is Jeopardy.
The delightful Miss Anastasia - my eldest of the daughters I am blessed (or cursed) with - took the initiative to enter me into the online contestant quiz. I couldn't disappoint her, so tonight I did the test. 50 questions. 15 seconds to respond to each. A wide myriad of topics as those of you who know the show would know. Clearly I missed 6 of 50 (or was it 7?) with no answer at all. Clearly I know I missed at least 3 questions completely (How could I miss Madison as the President during the War of 1812?). And there were at least 6 that were wild ass guesses. If I was correct on 34 of 50, I would be extremely surprised.
So I don't know what my score was, and they won't tell me. I won't even know if I "pass" or "fail" the test. People who "pass" get put into a random draw for a limited number of interviews, and then contestants are selected from the interviews.
I'd say my chances of appearing on Jeopardy are in jeopardy.
But if I make it, I am thinking I should wear a Motorcyclist Cafe bumper sticker on my bald noggin and present Alex Trebek (a Great Canadian (tm)) with a Cafe T-Shirt.
