Scary, I hit a dog on Palomar Mountian and about killed myself. There were two dogs both tried to bite the front wheel, I hit one of them dead center in the middle, while trying to slow as I was doing around 55 mph. The back tire came off of the ground as I struck the dog. I was slightly out of control and headed for a steep embankment covered in pine trees. I was able to gain control and stop the bike. I couldn't find the dog, but my bike was covered in hair and a nasty scent. I hurried home and parked the bike for quite some time.

I remember seeing his hand bandaged up in interviews the next day. I guess that's a pretty small injury considering he's now *that guy* and will probably stay that way for a long time.
