A very interesting concept. I checked Amazon and it hasn't showed up there yet, will watch for it.
I love motorcycle scrapbooks!

Dave, if you have trouble finding it let me know and I'll send one over. (Same go's for all you guys, of course). I think the Triumph one is to be the first of a series to include all the major British makes.

Dave and SI, looks like they'll ship to the USA. 11.49 pounds, about 19 $ US. I'll let you know when and how long it takes to get here.

Si and Rog...and anybody -
Have you seen the excellent books by Lindsay Brooke entitled "Triumph in America" and "Racing Triumphs in America"?
Very good and very accurate. Many of this type book have too many errors, but Lindsay did a great job on research. My heroes Jack Wilson and Jon Minonno are all through the racing one.
Thanks for the offer Si, I'll wait and see how Rog makes out.

I like Lindsay Brooke and have one of his books (although neither of the ones you mention). He used to write a monthly column in Classic Bike some years back too. A good writer and a good friend to the Triumph marque. Makes him OK in my eyes.

For technical detail you have to go a long way to beat Steve Wilson, some may find him a little "dry" but for the confirmed "geeks" amongst us he's the king!

Cheers,
Si.

Si, Lindsay is a very nice guy too.
When researching the "Racing Triumphs in America" book, he & I spent a long time, a number of times on the phone. We hadn't met at that time, I was President of the North Texas Norton Owners Association and he found me that way, trying to track down Jack Wilson. Then he came to Dallas for "2 days" to interview Jack. He ended up staying a week, far too much material for only 2 days!
A number of the pics in the two books are from Jack's collection, a few of them were from mine...I even got photo credits.
But no free book! Can't blame him there though...

I'd like a copy as well. If there's a drop shipment to the US in the offing, let me know to whom I should make the check!:eusa_clap:
