BMW has decided that the HP2 Enduro works just as well as a Supermoto. With all that horsepower it makes for a very exciting road bike. BMW is offering the street tyres and larger front brake disc as an option when you buy the Enduro version and you can not just buy the Supermoto yet. BMW is offering 120/70-zr17 Continental Road Attack front and 150/70-zr17 rear. BMW also offers the Bridgestone BT 020, Metzeler Roadtec Z6, Pirelli Diabolo Strada or Pirelli Scorpion Sync if you don't fancy those

Now, if they could just cut it back to 385lbs or so.....

I figure it was just a matter of time. KTM already came out with the 950SM, so BMW will have to do something a bit more than just bigger front brake and street slicks. Shed some weight and add a few more horsies would be lovely.

A supermotard! The bike's probably better suited to that than the dirt, but a rider had better be careful of that front fender. It's a $600 four piece assembly! I don't know about you, but I'd hate to break that fender while motarding. But I think I'd opt for the KTM 950 SM, which already comes with the right wheels (when it becomes available). And what's up with the permanently sealed final drive? Where will all the tiny metal particles all go? Sort of worries me...

Also here in Italy kit will be available for ONLY $1'260! But included bike registration update! BMW HP2 Enduro $ 21'000 + Kit $ 1'260= $ 22'260.
Not bad for a gold made bike.

I prefer the term "SUMOTARD". The KTM is here, and basically is all motorcycles rolled into one. Fun, Fun, Fun. Once the Ducati Hypermoto thing and the japanese finally catch on (again), there'll be a LOT better choices than the HP2. Anyone want to guess what those things will be worth used?

The "Sumotard"...
Although the cool factor is off the charts, you have to wonder what they will be "worth" new, considering the price!?
Now the KTM & Duc HyperMotard...Hoochie Mama!
