I must say guys, I rather like this. In the light of BMW's new "performance/sports" image, I could see a market for it too.

What do you guys think?

I've been out of the bike scene for 22 years and I guess I don't understand "Motard". Anyone want to explain? Real nice bike though.

Now that i like, fit a nice set of tubeless ali rims and a drive belt ala F800, that'll do me.

It's really a lot more than that 'Dog. The super ightweight handling, the power/weight ratio, the ease of throwing it from sdie to side all make a true motard a sinfully fun bike to ride.

Personally, I think the BIG motards like the GS shown above, the Ducati Hypermotard and other so-called motards with 700cc plus displacement are just tributes to the real 250-500cc single cylinder supermotards. However, the advantage that these big motards have for the rider is still light weight, better handling and power/weight advantages.

These big motards wouldn't keep up with a true motard on a supermoto track, but they offer a lot of advantages for street performance.
