Talking of Laverdas..

The V6, with Piero Laverda himself twisting the throttle.

The 750 SFC, a more traditional sound. A real motorcycle..

Italians! Don't you just love 'em? "Hey, we got all these old race bikes but no race track. Never mind, just ride 'em on the road. With a Police escort.."

That was excellent! Wish I could have been there for the bikes and the chocolate! There's my old friend Michelle/Mike Duff. He/she's quite a character, but is scary fast on her Yamaha to this day. I met here through a pal at USGP about 5-6 years ago. She gave a slide show of never before GP races from the 50's and 60's that blew our minds in San Francisco. Great pics!

So THAT'S what happened to Michael Duff.

Simply an incredible showing of so many rare classics.

That RD350LC was better than Yamaha ever made it.
