I noticed that today is our very own Gord's birthday, so I just want to be the first on the board to wish Gord a very happy birthday and look forward to his participation on the board in the coming year. And Gord - you are as old as me today - 48!!!

Happy Birthday pardner!

Lovin' you, Bob! :058:

Thanks for the kind wishes.

I finished a speaking engagement this morning ("CMMI In An Outsourced Environment" for you geeks out there!) and am now sitting in my office at home.

I have a Johnny Walker Black sitting beside my lap top.

I have Wagner's "Das Rheingold" blaring on the stereo (I have turned into an opera fan when not listening to AC/DC, Sirenia, Epica or Nightwish!)

I am watching the bright sun melt the 12 feet of snow on my front lawn and thinking about my first ride on April 10 (or earlier!) (okay, and its only 3 feet of snow!)

I am thinking about the dinner that I am going out for tonight with my lovely bride and my evil teenage daughters (I mean "evil" in a most respectful and loving way, of course!)

I am thinking about riding.

I am thinking about boobs.

I am not thinking too much about work!

So far it has been a pretty damn fine 48th!

Indeed,

Happy Aging Day to you, Gord !!! :present:

But only 48? :icon_eek:

You be but a mere child, my Son... And Dean could easily be your Great Grandfather as old as he is! :eusa_dance:

Seems like you got a good plan for your evening, but since I can't be there to buy you a few drinks I'll have to let these young ladies give you the following toast:

Gord,

1958 was an excellent year, not that you really recall very much, I imagine. I was finishing up the 37,000 miles I put on my Cushman, ready to buy a real motorcycle.:041: In Illinois one could ride a 2-wheeler, which had -5 horsepower without a driver's license. But now I could get a drivers license and a real bike.

Again, not that you remember, but I stopped by that summer, with my '34 Harley to give young master Gordon his first ride on a bike. Sadly, your parents told me no. :018: They mentioned something about you taking a nap, and how cranky you were when you did not get your proper sleep.

But, hey, at least I tried. Have a great birthday young lad.:eusa_clap: May you have many more. And I hope the next time I stop by you are not sleeping. Your wife reports that you are pretty cranky when you don't get your proper sleep.

Some things never change,
Frank
