sweet.

Is it used or new? I thought the break-in period on the RT was rough to get through. I imagine the temptation on that beast could be classified as cruel and unusual punishment.

It's new. I always stretch the break in rules a bit but it'll probably have it's first service in about one week. After that...

Very Sweet! My White Aluminum Silver K12S shows up on Thursday this week. I envy how quick you were able to land this Teutonic Torpedo.

I am still giggling like a teenager after his first kiss. The K1200S is pure passion....

Saw this paint scheme at the MC show in Houston. The photo doesn't do it justice. BMW's paint department is doing a good job lately.

NR,

What were your long term impressions on the F800S? I got one as a loaner & put about 150 miles on it. Seemed to be a near perfect commuter bike. Enough power, but not too much, very forgiving, great brakes (I was not able to cause the ABS to engage, & I tried a couple of time, like to see where the engineers limit it), and the gas mileage was great, 58 mpg. Nice & light weight too. I would definately not hesitate to recommend one as an entry level bike, or as an inexpensive commuter.

BTW, your K1200S looks very sweet, ride careful, it does have more power than the 800.

Nice choice Naked...

In fact, I thought I spotted you wearing a K1200S shirt in the one of the pics that WW posted from Infineon.

I agree the 800 is a great bike for what it is. Easy to ride, great gas mileage and it has enough power for commuting.

I wanted something with more punch and a better front end. I've got both with the K1200S.

I've had a K1200R in the past so the power was no surprise. Like most BMWs these bikes are very good for their intended purpose.

Hey Nekked, you cut a fine figure all decked out at Infineon. Color coordinated BMW riding suit, gorgeous blue wheeled K bike...man! Looking good - you should be the new poster boy for San Jose BMW Racing! You make Dean look like a Cro Magnon rolling down a hill on stone wheels...

Thanks Will.

I'd love to be known for ANY association with the SJBMW guys:eusa_clap: Watching them race is the best entertainment value on the planet.

Au contraire, my Naked buddy; going partying with them after a victory supercedes anything, for that's when the non stop talk gets to the kernal of the speedy issue. Great bunch of guys! Some Megamoto pics please...can you get a Corona girl to sit on it in costume?
