Bro Dave,
Other than on fire or with major parts missing I would choose the plane. Now remember I'm talking small planes here. I'd rather dead stick a Super Cub than jump, that and I've never carried a chute the entire time I've been flying so I guess my ass would be in a jam either way. This is something Randy will understand. Give me a 100' fish tape over a chute. Just throw it out the plane and hang on because it's going to get hung up on something!!!!!
