Belive it or not, I have had one of those things up to 37,500 MSL and a TAS of 465 MPH and a IAS of 319 MPH at 30,000, not on the same flights just to be clear.
At airshows, it was routine to buzz the runway at 10' off the deck at Vne.
AHHHH, those were the days.
Shoot I was going to guess Judge Crater.

Also I've noticed that someone has built an airstrip approximately 5 miles to the NW of your home...
It looks like a fly in golf community...

Actually that has been there for some years, but it has been lengthened in the past two years.
Fly in golf and resedental community.
I want an ultralite big time.

So do I; maybe we can get a Dean Deal. There were three here last weekend, and they were all decked out like motorcyclists in the sky.
And, if you want to keep the attention of the mere mortals here, may I suggest you explain your arcane pilots' lingo? Otherwise, your next construction query will be delivered to you in Latin.

Man, oh man. About a brazillion years ago I took lessons in an Air Knocker Champ. Flip prop, wire on cork sticking out of the cowling for fuel level, no radio, damn near no instruments.... flying out of an uncontrolled grass field*. A 72-year-old teaching me about the differences of flying with a stick and tail dragger. Good stuff.
It's amazing what they've been able to do with the children of that old bird.
* Look over your shoulder, boy, if you don't see anyone, take off.

WW has a point...
Half the trick of commanding a high salary is to come up with professional lingo no one else understands. Hence use of Latin by lawyers.
OK, WW...my translation:
MSL - (above) mean sea level
TAS - True Air Speed
IAS - indicated air speed
Vne - Vancouver Noseflute Ensemble
.... or, maybe, just maybe, Velocity, not to exceed.
Half the trick of commanding a high salary is to come up with professional lingo no one else understands. Hence use of Latin by lawyers.
And consultants by businesses....
I am paid big bucks to decipher acronyms for customers and to create new ones for us to decipher in future engagements. How cool is that.

Of course, you'll have to do something about that paint job...it's a little :ymca:

The paint job is so the plane will be easy to spot when you run out of fuel out in the desert... :mwink:
Now that's an aircraft I could afford. If I only lived in AZ.
