This is the coolest Duc I've ever seen...well, except the HyperMotard of course !
I really hope this is a Photoshop special and not real though.
There are already too many bikes that give me wet-dreams !

Nice looking machine but it looks like Ducati has re-invented the Aprilia Caponord.

Yuck. Don't we have enough bikes that don't do anything very well, and many things with utter mediocrity? The Multistrada is the best sport tourer ever, and someone thinks it needs to look & handle like a GS?
Photoshop.
Well it doesn't float my boat. Even when it says Ducati

I don't know if it's real or not. If it is, I doubt seriously it is a Multistrada replacement.
I'd think it more likely that it would be an addition to the line and would not be placed as a "sport tourer"...a so-called "Adventure" bike would be more like it.
I don't know how it would handle or perform, I've never ridden one, personally.
But if you think it looks like a GS...one of us is stone blind !
To my ill-informed, un-trained eye, it looks more like the 1050 Tiger, which everyone seems to like, over in Roger's new bike thread.
Yearning still for mediocrity...

I spent a long weekend on a Multistrada S, and it was a tough choice between that & the SD. I can't see Ducati building something like that picture - who would it appeal to? The 19"/17" combo is a compromise between sport tires (17s) and true offroad capability rubber (21/18), and the silly spoked wheels with exposed nipples (although exposed nipples are OK in every other situation) are just, well, silly. The Tiger is definitely Multistrada competition, and has no off-road aspirations (dirt roads are still roads). For people who want an Italian GS, there's the Cagiva, and Guzzi's new bike. Between the GS & a 990 Adventure (in the Adventure Touring segment), everything else is just window dressing. If they build this bike, they'll sell about half as many as they sold ST4s. Very few. But that's just me....
I may be stoned, but never blind.
Although, I do suffer from "refrigerator blindness".

THAT's what I thought...looks like a Tiger! I still like better...but it's cool.
