Hey Randy...the new issue of "Motorcycle Product News" just arrived and has an ad on the back cover you might be interested in.
They have a new kit with a couple of flat-slide carbs, mounting adapters, linkage, K&N tapered oval filters & a crankcase breather/filter.
Can't tell if they are "pumpers" or not, or if they are Mikunis or Keihens, but they do have TPS.
The kit is for the Thruxton but I'd guess would work on the others as well.

I know you'd probably make your own mounts, etc. but it might be a little tough making the carbs !

Eurosport Cycles in Fort Worth has made several Thruxton specials with carbs, cam, pistons, head work, exhaust, wheels, tires, brakes, the works.
They are spectacular and run like scalded apes, but a little spendy at $16-18K.

Thanks Dave. I will file this info for the time I decide to jump into the Scrambler. It looks like it might be a good upgrade especially if they're Mikunis. I already have a full kit for Mikuni flatsides.

My friend in Escondido has done some fine engine work to the new Triumph twin motors (Randy at MDR). He has bored, stroked and completed many other performance mods to them. They run really good when they're pumped up. Mine is still under warranty, so I will wait for a while to open it up.

If I had a new Triumph Scrambler, I'd name it "Steve".
'Course, that's what I tell Betty everytime I see a new Mustang too.

Yeah, I think one of the Triumph twins, fully tweaked for hot-street work, would be a blast !

Dean, you should take a close look at one before you jump off into Scooterville...
