Well, they call it a "Cold Canadian Air Mass" on the weather! I remember when I lived in Florida many years back, these CCAM's would make their way down to us there and drop the temp in the winter to almost freezing:yikes:
Here, a little further North, it's just a tad bit colder.
This morning was 8 degrees F. with a wind chill of -2 F.
These cold snaps don't stay for long...it's supposed to return to the mid forties in a couple of days. The hardest part to get used to is this, they are accompanied by clear blue skies and bright sunshine!
Perfect weather for a ride...if it wasn't so darn cold.
Oh well, this place has more pluses to me than SoCal where I moved from, so I'll just have to deal with it...now where's my ice skates, I see the pond behind the house is frozen over!
