Here are a couple of vids I got off of landracing.com. The first video shows a qualifying run of 276mph with an exit speed of 279. The car is a AA/G lakester. This is probably the best video I've seen that conveys the feeling of really fast speed!

This is the record back-up attempt where he ends up sideways at 245-250 mph :yikes::yikes: You can see where the spin came from, the video is showing a lot of wheelspin!

That shows how quickly conditions can change there...loads of traction on one run, none on the next. Either same or next day, depending on which rules they are running.
