Has anyone tried this item?

The stock headlights on the RT are pretty good (better than any stock lights I've ridden behind anyway) but more lumen couldn't hurt.

Other ideas?

Thanks.

I had a set of 1100X lights on my K1200RS and Mike has a set on his. I had mine more for being seen than seeing, but they work equally well in both regards. But they sure are pricey.....

My PIAA Lights are awesome… I always use them during the day… (Safety)
I recommend buying the kit specifically for your motorcycle…

Expensive but worth every penny in my opinion…

Do a Google search to find the best price…

The hardest part of the install is removing your bikes plastics…
