Found this on the BMOA site. Its a website you can make and print an emergency medical/contact card to carry by your driver's license. I'm gonna run into Office Max and pick up some self laminating plastic to put it in.
Its something we hate to think about, but necessary IMHO. I have no illusions as to how dangerous my daily commute is here in Phoenix. I gear up, ride aware, take the ERC, and still....stuff happens.
I just entered ICE (in case of emergency) info in my cell phone AND printed a sticker to put on it. Guess I'll laminate it also and glue it on the back.
Ride safe.

Great idea Rog.
Some drugstores give away little cards for that purpose, too.
I picked up several for family members.
Now I have to get everyone to fill them out & carry them...including me !
What's the ICE deal ?

What's the ICE deal ?
ICE...In case of emergency)
I programed into the contact list of my phone....1 ICE and 2 ICE. That way they are the 1st and 2nd numbers on my contact list. EMT's and Police are looking at cell phone contact lists now if you are injured looking for emergency contacts. I just confirmed that with a Firefighter/EMT friend.
He also suggested, and I did it, that after my wife's name, Terrie in this case, I put WIFE in capital letters AFTER her name and CELL#. For my home number I have HOME-Terrie.
The other thing he suggested because he knows I ride 99% of the time is to carry my phone AND ID in my jacket pocket. He told me they ran on a motorcycle accident a while back here and it took them a couple of minutes to figure out how to open the bags on the bike. My habit has been to carry phone and ID in my right bag. I'm changing it.
None of us wants to think about getting knocked silly (silly-er?)in an accident, but it happens. Anything I can do to facilitate emergency personal in my treatment, I will.

And if you want to go all out... flashdrives can hold extensive medical information.
I know the president of this company - a good guy and riding buddy, who is currently unable to ride because of a medical condition. Go figure.

At one time I had a large supply of these stickers, but I've used them on all my helmets over the last 15 years or so, and gave the rest to friends.
Does anyone know where to get more, I've looked everywhere ?
These are really a good idea. They are a bit smaller than a silver dollar.

I have a friend that's been selling this data card for years. Very good if you have some medical problems that if not known when you're being treated might kill you. Allergies is the biggest that comes to mind. Like sulfur drugs etc. He now provides the data on a usb flash drive. AMA needs to adopt a universal storage area on the bike or helmet so that EMT's would go directly to that location if the rider is unconscious and alone. What do you think?
