We have established a new Smugmug account to house the photos for the Eye Candy home page. The account that Ron has so graciously allowed us to use has been accumulating many unrelated photos that in turn were showing up on our home page. Since it is a relatively open 'guest' account, anyone with access can add to the gallery. The new account is a low level, basic account. As such it does not have the 'guest' provision. Therefore, all uploads will need to be performed by the owner, namely me.

The images can be viewed at:

motorcyclistcafe.smugmug.com

We have established a gmail account for submission of photos for the Eye Candy section. The address is:

mccafe.images at gmail.com (replace the 'at' with an '@' sign)

The majority of the photos in the original account have been copied to the new account. What is missing is anything not Motorcycle related. The over two thousand food photos have been deleted, as have the boats, cars, airplanes, family vacation pictures, and various other things. While those type of photos are certainly appropriate for the forum portion of the website, the rotating photos displayed on our home page should reflect our main focus.

Please only submit photos that contain a Motorcycle, a part of a Motorcycle, or something obviously Motorcycle related. Only photos accompanied by your user name and originating from your email address of record will be loaded. That way we can insure the source of the photo is from a registered member.

We would like to thank Ron for his generosity in hosting our photos. The expense of maintaining the level of account necessary to permit such broad usage is not inexpensive. We have only copied the Eye Candy gallery of the account. That in no way effected the existing account.

If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Thanks

Great work Harry - I know how hard you and Abhijeet have been working on this. Sorry I have not been able to help out - I am off to Bangkok in a few hours. Sawadeekap,

Thanks guys for all you do "behind the scenes". Without you, there'd be no "us"!

Cheers,
Si.

Actually, Harry deserves the credit on this one. I just changed a few pieces of code around.

A big - and good ! - step forward.
Thanks guys...! :eusa_clap::eusa_clap:

Now would be the time to set up our short cuts to www.MotorcyclistCafe.com as our opening page.
Take a gander at the "pic O' the day", then click on image to go to forums home page, or...
Click "Refresh" to see another image, or click more times for more images.

There is some very good photography & images here, as well as some good stuff from Cafe' members too.
It is a great archive of historical & modern bikes and racing.
And we all know there is some *fine* photography that is posted here in the forums that the owners could submit for the image file...I really hope you do.

Try it...you'll l-i-k-e it !

Harry and AB:

A simple Thank You just doesn't seem like enough, but it's all I got.

Harry the next few beers or coffee are on me, and AB that goes for you as well, as soon as you get your butt to AZ.
