John Force crash

I don't know if we have any drag racing fans here, but here is a vid of 14-time Funny Car National Champion John Force's horrendous crash yesterday with Kenny Bernstein at Ennis, TX. This was well over 300 MPH.
Un-freaken-believable !
From reports, all either of the drivers talked about after this crash was how the other guy was.

Laura and I were there for the first round qualifying. We visited John and Ashley's pits before visiting all the drag bike pits. Whenever Ashley ran John was beside the track on his scooter looking out for her.

I suspect we watched John's last race.

It is still the best spectator motor sport event.

Here is hoping JF a speedy recovery.

I saw the crash an it was terrible, I hope he is alright.


I met him when I was a kid at a race in Idaho and have followed him ever since, I really enjoy watching him and his family racing.

John was on the news tonight. He said he wants to be back in the car during the third week of October. Here is wishing him the best. We'll see.

Are you kidding???? I'm a HUGE fan of John" Brute" Force. He's THE man at the strip.
I saw the crash on TV and even though I knew he made it, it was still scary. A tribuite to the safety equipment.

I chatted with John here at Firebird Raceway, just a normal dude who likes to go fast. He'd fit right in here at the Cafe. He was real intrested in the ST ( I was parked by the pits) as I was pulling in he stopped and said " what the fu*k is THAT? We talked for 20 min.
